Who we are
Artemis Therapies ("we", "us") provides massage and touch therapy at Yoga Light Centre, 8 Market Street, Ruthin, Denbighshire, LL15 1BE. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
The information we collect
- Booking details, when you book, your appointment is handled by Fresha. Information such as your name, contact details and booking history is processed through Fresha's platform under their own privacy terms.
- Consultation & health information, before a treatment we ask about relevant health and wellbeing so we can adapt your treatment safely. This may include health information, which is treated as a special category of personal data and handled with particular care.
- Contact you provide, any details you share when you contact us directly.
How we use your information
- To provide, adapt and follow up on your treatments safely.
- To manage bookings, reminders and payments (via Fresha).
- To respond to your enquiries.
- To meet our professional, insurance and legal obligations.
Lawful basis
We rely on your consent and on our legitimate interest in providing a safe, professional service. Health information is processed on the basis of explicit consent and for the provision of health-related services.
How long we keep it
We keep consultation and treatment records for as long as required by our professional body and insurer, and no longer than necessary.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your information. We use Fresha to manage bookings and payments. We will only share information where required by law or with your consent.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact Hannah (via the Fresha booking page). You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
